National Capital served as Investment Bankers to Washington Data Systems, Inc., in its acquisition by International FiberCom, Inc. (NASDAQ: IFCI). Washington Data Systems was founded in 1982 as an information resource management company. Since that time, it has expanded to become a full-service systems integrator contracting with both the private and public sector. It also develops and sells enterprise level software for associations, unions and other not-for- profit entities under the "Medallion" tradename and designs and installs telecommunications and data processing networks and is an authorized Nortel distributor.
