Benjamin Macfarland began his investment career with Beshears & Associates, Inc. as an analyst performing property valuations for national banks and Wall Street clients. He previously founded his own business, which he grew to 30 employees before selling to its current owners. Ben went on to join FRI Investors, Inc., a premier office and industrial real estate developer in mid-sized markets throughout the southeast U.S. As an Associate Developer he was instrumental in acquisition, disposition, and development in dozens of value added opportunities. Continuing to specialize in commercial real estate investment Ben went on to found Benjamin Macfarland Company, LLC, which is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Florida and based in West Palm Beach, FL. The company focuses on the management of self-storage properties and off-market acquisition, disposition, and development opportunities for select clients focused in Palm Beach County. Select clients have included Tenet Healthcare, Kimley Horn & Associates, Palm Beach Atlantic University, Kaplan Development, and All AC Self Storage. Ben and his wife, Christina, enjoy serving on the Board of Trustees for various nonprofit organizations in Palm Beach County and Washington, D.C.
Ben brings his business development, operational, and investment experience to bear in identifying and structuring merchant banking opportunities, which focus on middle market companies in high growth sectors of the economy.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate from Florida State University and is a candidate for a Masters of Business Administration from American University.
