Robert W. Wherry (Board of Advisors)

Mr. Wherry brings nearly 45 years experience in the adhesive and sealant industry to National Capital.

Bob spent 37 years with Hercules, Inc in various marketing and sales management positions in New York, Boston, Charlotte, St Louis and Wilmington. His career also includes International Sales Management in the areas of Mexico, Central, and South America with emphasis on Brazil. He has also managed the domestic distribution sales channel for the Resins Division of Hercules.

His special area of expertise is in the formulation of polymers with low molecular resins derived from oleoresin (rosin) and petroleum hydrocarbons.

Bob has twice served on the Board of Directors of The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC), on the Advisory Committee of the Hot Melt Committee of TAPPI, was supplier chair of the former Adhesive Manufacturers Association (now part of the ASC) and was active in the proceedings of the Pressure Sensitive Tape Council (PSTC).

Bob earned a B.S. in Chemistry at Seton Hall University, South Orange, NJ.
