James Kemp (Board of Advisors)

James Kemp is co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Kemp Partners, a strategic consulting firm based in Washington DC. Mr. Kemp has responsibility for managing client relationships, corporate finance, accounting, legal, human resources and internal company operations. He has been representing clients providing government relations and business development services since 2002.

Prior to Kemp Partners, Mr. Kemp spent eight seasons as a quarterback in the Canadian Football League, finishing his career in 2001 with the Toronto Argonauts.

Mr. Kemp also serves as Chairman of the Board for the Hope Community Charter School located in NE Washington DC. The school serves pre-k through grade 6 and opened in 2005.

Personal Highlights: Jimmy and his wife Susan reside in NW Washington DC and are the parents of four sons, Jonah 8, Marco 6, Benjamin 3 and Thomas 1. .
