Larry E. Drumm (Board of Advisors)

Larry Drumm, BSChE, MBA brings over 40 years of experience in the chemical and biotechnology industries specifically in the areas of sales, marketing and business development and having reached the level of VP of Business Development. For National Capital, Larry proactively acts as the interface between the firm and clients and is involved in execution of engagements where his expertise is needed.

Since 2002, Larry has led his own consulting practice conducting business with fine, specialty and bulk chemical companies worldwide and specifically in the application of biotechnology to the chemical industry. In recent years, he has served twice as president of the Commercial Development and Marketing Association (CDMA), which is the chemical industry’s leading organization for technology commercialization. He has also served as a member of the Board of the Biotechnology Industry Organization’s (BIO) Industrial and Environmental Section, and chairman for the Chemical Industry CTO Summit on Biotechnology, which is co-sponsored by The American Chemical Society and BIO.

Professionally, Larry has held various positions with Eastman Chemical Products Inc., Eastman Kodak Company, Genencor International, a DuPont/ConAgra Joint Venture, Bio-Technical Resources and with MBI International. These positions ranged from sales representative to interim president with a heavy concentration in developing business for the respective companies.
